I just think it's a little weird that the differences between Windows and OS X are pretty much exact opposites, which leads me to believe that the game could function fully with my specs. In Windowed and Full screen mode the game runs at perfect speed but with the same graphical issues. In my boot camp partition of Windows XP, the game doesn't lag at all but the sprites are jagged and the some of the text is illegible. In full screen, no matter what I do, the screen is white. The graphics are sharp and all of the text is crisp as can be, but the game lags like crazy and is basically unplayable. In OS X, the game looks perfect in window mode. I have noticed a few things that confuse me a little bit.
I am having the same problem with similar hardware.
